Policies

Cancelation Policy: Confirmed reservations are subject to a non-refundable $100 cancellation fee. 100% of reservation becomes non-refundable with in 30 days of arrival. Reservations made with in 30 days are non refundable.

Deposit Policy: First night, plus a non-refundable $20.00 booking fee is due to confirm reservation. Reservations made with in 30 days of arrival are subject to full payment.

Travelers Insurance: To protect your reservation we highly recommend purchasing a VacationGuard policy. Just a hand full of coverage benefits include: emergency medical issues, road closures past 5 hours, lost or delayed baggage, vehicle break down, property damage to unit… and the list goes on. CLICK HERE to see a full list of benefits. Must be added at least 31 day prior to arrival date. You may call your lodging representative today at 1.800.967.7500 to purchase travelers insurance.

Smoking Policy: All condos and townhomes are non-smoking, Guest will be charged up to but no limited to a $200.00 cleaning fee.

Pet Policy: Non of our condos are pet friendly at this time, any reports of pets in our condos will result in eviction as well as a fee up to but not limited to $200.00.

Check In Policy: Drivers License/ID, Credit Card, and Season Pass if applicable are required upon check in. Lodging Check in is located in The Village at the Main Lodge at Kirkwood’s Lobby. Our check in time typically starts at 4:00pm just in time for the lifts to close. Early check in is not guaranteed and may not be available due to housekeeping schedule or maintenance. Please inquire day of arrival to see if your condo will be available before 4:00pm by calling 1.800.967.7500.

Check Out Policy: Keys are required to be returned to the front desk upon check out to avoid a $25.00 replacement fee. Condo should be vacated with all lights off, doors and windows shut and locked, and with out any damages un reported. Any fees will be charged to the Credit Card on file. Check out is by 11:00am. Late check out is not guaranteed and may be not be available due to housekeeping schedule or maintenance. Please inquire day of departure to see if your condo will be available  for a noon check out by calling 1.800.967.7500.

Parking Policy: All condos and townhomes except standard queen rooms include 1 parking spot either in a garage or parking lot. Queen rooms include general parking located on Kirkwood Meadows Dr.

Snow Emergency Policy: Snow Emergencies require certain parking lots to be evacuated. Participation is required.


FAQ’s

Q: When is the Lodging Office open?
A: Winter Hours- 8:00am-10:00pm (Sunday-Thursday) Open till midnight on Fridays & Saturdays.

Q: Where do I Check in?
A: Lodging check in for all properties is located in the Village in The Main Lodge at Kirkwood’s lobby.

Q: How late can I Check In?
A: Any time! If our Front Desk is closed, your late arrival packed will be available for pick up in the Lodges Lobby. Any after hour questions should be directed to 209.210.7244. Registration may be completed the next morning after 8:00am.

Q: Does my unit have towels and sheets?
A: Yes, your unit will be provided with housekeeping upon arrival.

Q: Does my unit have a kitchen?
A: Standard Queen Rooms only have a minifridge, microwave, and coffee maker. All of our larger condos and townhomes have fully equipped kitchens.

Q: Does my unit have wireless? Cable? Phone?
A: Not all units have wireless, no. The following do however offer wifi: The Mountain Club, The Meadows, Snow Crest, The Sentinels, Meadowstone Lodge, a few Sun Meadows condos. Not all units offer Cable and Phones in rooms, all condos do however offer TV/DVD players.

Q: What happens if the Roads Close? And I have not made it yet?
A: We offer travelers insurance that reimburses your loss after 5 hours of the roads being closed on both sides of Kirkwood (Spur and Pass).

Q: Is there Dining available?
A: We do have available dining options for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Most restaurants do close their kitchen at 8:00pm. If your arrival is expected to be late, we recommend dining/shopping in Jackson, South Lake, or Carson City prior to arriving at Kirkwood.

Q: Do I get daily housekeeping service?
A: Not unless your reservation is 5 nights or longer.  Daily can however be added to your reservation at an extra cost. Please call our housekeeping team to make arrangements at 209.258.7313.

Q: What can my kids do for fun when the lifts close?
A: Kirkwood offers a tubing hill perfect for the young ones. Additional activities include snow play located in Kirkwood’s Meadow area. *sleds are not available to purchase/borrow.

Q: What can the adults do for fun when the lifts close?
A: Keep an eye out for events and parties listed on the website and in the Neighborwood. Other wise, both the Kirkwood Inn and Bub’s Pub are open later for food, drink, and socializing.
